Eladio Reinón – Improvising techniques

Practice of the language of jazz and improvisation techniques through its historic repertoire.

The aim is to improve understanding and knowledge of the language of jazz and its repertoire and acquire tools and resources for improvisation.

  • Harmonic resources
  • Rhythmic resources
  • Motives and its development
  • Control of musical space

 

Active in the jazz scene since the early 80s, Eladio Reinón has recorded numerous albums as a sideman and as a leader and has been awarded several times as best soloist, best album and best director of Big Band.
He is also professor of saxophone and ensemble in the jazz department of Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and El Musical de Bellaterra.

Among his most outstanding works are recordings with Tete Montoliu, Bebo Valdes, Jack Walrath, Idris Muhammad, the Big Band Bellaterra and Eladio Reinón Supercombo.
